Adventure Bound: 1933-1936 Historical film - This historical film traces the Rainbow Bridge-Monument Valley expeditions of 1933 to 1937. Ansel Franklin Hall, a professor at UC Berkeley, was largely responsible for this field research program and film, which provides early glimpses of significant scholars and scientists in their formative years. This was a daring expedition into very remote and rugged country, at a time when economic paralysis of the Great Depression gripped the United States.
